The Herbert C. Jackson Passes the Soo

Again, this represents two different days worth of pictures.
The Herbert C. Jackson was just returning from a delivery of ore to Dearborn.  She was heading up to Marquette to repeat the process.  I think she makes this voyage almost exclusively but don't quote me on that.
She is a pretty nice looking boat.
I never really noticed how you can see where she lies in the water.
For a boat that looks so squat from the front, she looks pretty sleek from the side.
 A shot of her pilothouse.
The American flag flying proudly on her stern.
 And she passes the point.
A shot from her return trip a day later.  Again, this makes me want to go to Marquette.
 A side shot.
And she continues down the darkening river.
